What is Legendary Gate?
Legendary Gate is a content driven website that allows users to create and share campaigns, people, ideas, stories, etc. You can easily search for a campaign that you like and even contact the creator of that campaign. The site is free and will hopefully be used over and over again.
Why the website was created
As a DM, I have to come up with a lot of campaign settings, quests, people, etc. I would turn to the Internet to try to find some goods ideas and expand on them. Well this turned into a chore. I would spend way more time trying to find stories than reading them. So I decided there has to be a better way. I would get the idea of this website, in the form of social networking. If all the players and DMs in the world had a place to share ideas, this would be the place to search for campaigns. Hopefully this tool will help everybody's tabletop experience become more exciting.
How you can help
Anyone is welcome to visit the site and search our database of campaign ideas. You can really make your mark by creating a username and password. This will allow you access to create and share your own stories. You are also able to make friends and see their campaigns. Hopefully with the help of everyone, we can create the largest database of campaign stories and friends.
What tabletop games are supported
Well I would like to reach as many as I possibly can. Since this is a mass collaboration project, anyone that has good campaign ideas for any game can contribute. I have my experience in Dungeons and Dragons but we would like to have campaigns in all forms. You are our content so please share! As new games come out or people bring up good RPG's, the site can be updated to include these new games.
